Recollections

Upon awakening the lights were overpowering and as he blinked his way out of his slumber all he remembered was being gutted in his stomach. It all happened so fast, one minute he was joking with his boy who suddenly threw a pencil at this boy two rows ahead in the classroom. Then the boy turned and he seemed lost but he turned the table, tossed two chairs aside and I confronted him but that’s all remember I don’t know anything else.

How’s my boy, yo I wish he didn’t throw that pencil at that boy really.

WHAT? Nah, no don’t tell me that, Dad no why?

I don’t know son that’s why we have to be careful with our actions.

But dead, really? For a pencil.
